The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course is a instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. Heartsaver CPR AED Certification Card, is valid for two years.

Students are required to have the current textbook for this course. Only Denver Health & Hospital Authority staff have the option to borrow a manual from the employee library unless they wish to bring a personal copy. New book purchases include reference cards. How to Get the Discount:

  1. Ask your manager for the employee discount code before registering.
  2. You must be a current, active employee and not in your resignation notice period.
  3. The course must be within 6 months of your AHA certification expiration.

How to Apply the Discount:

  1. Start your registration and fill out the first page.
  2. On the second page (payment screen), enter the discount code.
  3. The discounted price will appear — then complete your payment.
