The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This course is a instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. Heartsaver CPR AED Certification Card, is valid for two years.

Students are required to have the current textbook for this course. Only Denver Health & Hospital Authority staff have the option to borrow a manual from the employee library unless they wish to bring a personal copy. New book purchases include reference cards. Denver Health & Hospital Authority employees qualify for a discount.  Please see your manager for the discount code prior to registration.

To receive the employee discount, employees must be currently active as an employee and not in their resignation notice period. 

Employees using the employee code for an AHA course must be within a 6-month window of expiration. 

If you are using a discount code, please complete the first page and when you are redirected to the second payment page you will then see the adjusted amount. You will then be able to submit your payment at that time.
