HeartCode Hybrid BLS/CPR Skills Check Off

This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of hospital and pre-hospital settings. It utilizes a blended learning approach for the BLS certification, and can be done for an intital and renewal certification.The online component is facilitated through the online AHA HeartCode BLS Course, offering participants flexibility to complete the course at their preferred pace. After finishing the online modules, participants proceed to an In-Person Skills Check Off session with an AHA Instructor.

Please note that registration for this Skills Check Off Course does not include the online didactic course, and needs to be purchased separately.

Steps to take: 

  1. Purchase and complete the HeartCode BLS didactic course at: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls (Product Number: 20-3553
  2.  Print the course completion certificate and bring it to the scheduled in-person skills check session.
  3. Attend In-Person Skills Check Off session with an AHA BLS Instructor.
Students are required to have the current provider manual for this course. The BLS Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included with the purchase of the online HeartCode BLS Course. Students will be able to access the manual from within the course during the in-person skills checkoff. A reference card is available for purchase, but it is not required.

To receive the employee discount, employees must be currently active as an employee and not in their resignation notice period. 

Employees using the employee code for an AHA course must be within a 6-month window of expiration. 

If you are using a discount code, please complete the first page and when you are redirected to the second payment page you will then see the adjusted amount. You will then be able to submit your payment at that time.
